Chicory coffee has been around for some time, dating back to 19th century France. Chicory root was frequently added to coffee beans, often as a cost-saving practice during coffee shortages. Other ingredients in Adagio's new Chicoriccino blend include cocoa nibs, cinnamon, and dandelion root. With just a trace of caffeine, and a smooth toasty character, Chicoriccino is a perfect coffee doppelgänger.
